During the closedown last winter, we installed a completly new IP (Network cameras) with 44 cameras. The IP cameras were connected to the park's new network, also installed at the same time. The Gigabyte network itself is very impressive with a optical fiber ring connecting to local cabinets over the site.
All of the cameras are by ACTi which includes both external and internal cameras. Two PTZ domes are also fitted. Recording is taken care of by two Alnet 24 Camera NVR's (Network video recorders)
The system is mainly viewed in the club reception but can be viewed at any PC if required. This makes the operation very flexible
The picture quality is excellent being all 1.3 Megapixel cameras and so far, we have had only very positive response back from the customer

The Lazy Lizard This stylish, yet relaxed modern bar on Weymouth seafront which has an excellent sea-view, last year replaced their ageing CCTV system a new Alnet VDR-S DSP 24-camera system, using some of the original cameras and many new cameras, mostly Samsung colour domes. All of the areas are n ow covered over 2 floors. The management are very pleased with the quality of the video recordings and ease of playback. (See screen shot ->)
The Lazy Lizard is a split-level venue with areas for dining and drinking. Cream walls, forest-green shades, stripped floorboards and leather seating all combine to create a relaxed and stylish environment. Indeed there is a definite contemporary feel to the place that is well complimented by mood inspiring lights. Bar snacks and light meals are available from the kitchen.
Find them at 52 The Esplanade, Weymouth (across the road from the beach)

The Wey Valley School & Sports College Located in Weymouth, Dorset is a very good school catering for 11-16 year olds. The school is truly comprehensive with pupils that are capable of achieving at the highest level as well as those that need particular support due to learning difficulties.![]()
For some while, we have looked after their CCTV system. The original, run down CCTV was upgraded during the summer of 2004. The school now has 32 cameras covering the inside and outside of the school, recorded on two Leviathan 16-camera DVR's, each having a 1Tb HDD capacity. External cameras include a remote controlled speed dome camera, enabling the whole of the sports field area to be covered. Minor enhancements have been added regularly since 2004. The staff and management find the CCTV very useful and easy to use, enabling an eye to be kept on those little tucked away areas of the school. There is also the safety aspect of having so many CCTV cameras, as the staff can easily monitor any visitor to the school. Important in this day and age.
